Jill Sheldon - Associate

Jill Sheldon joined Cordero & Associates in September 2006. She was previously Southeast Field Office Attorney for the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) in Miami, where she focused on training practitioners on issues relating to the immigration consequences of criminal activity and removal proceedings as well as representing immigrants in removal proceedings before the immigration court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. CLINIC, a non-profit subsidiary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, provides legal services for low-income newcomers, serving more than 400,000 clients without regard to their race, religion, gender, ethnic group, or other characteristics.

Ms. Sheldon received her A.B. from Columbia College of Columbia University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She is a member of the Maryland Bar and belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
