Andrea Morey Associate

Andrea Morey has experience in complex immigration matters.

Andrea Morey joined Cordero & Associates in November 2009.  She has experience in complex immigration cases and represents foreign nationals before the U.S. Consulates, the Immigration Service, the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.  She represents the firm’s clients on cases for asylum, bond requests, various waivers, and other forms of relief from removal.  Ms. Morey specializes in waivers for criminal convictions.  She also handles family-based immigration matters and represents the firm’s clients on cases for naturalization and adjustment of status.

Ms. Morey earned her J.D. in 2006 from Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, Fla.  She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.  Prior to joining Cordero & Associates Ms. Morey worked as an associate in other large-sized immigration law firms in the Miami-area. 

She has been admitted to The Florida Bar and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  Ms. Morey is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.
