Wendy Fernandez Senior Paralegal
Wendy Fernandez has more than three decades of experience as an immigration paralegal and has provided services to hundreds of foreign nationals from around the world. She has extensive experience in preparing all categories of immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, with particular emphasis on extraordinary ability petitions and applications for permanent labor certifications. Her additional training as a social worker enhanced her ability to manage and respond to clients facing stressful life situations.
Mily Delgado Senior Paralegal
Mily Delgado has more than 15 years of immigration paralegal experience and an additional 10 years of experience as a legal assistant at South Florida firms including Holland & Knight and Shutts & Bowen. She is experienced in the areas of intracompany transfers, aliens of exceptional ability, national interest waivers and immigrant investors. She has also handled matters relating to nonimmigrant treaty investors and traders; multinational executives and managers; extensions of status for nonimmigrant visas; and nonimmigrant visa processing at U.S. consulates throughout the world. She has special experience in the area of intra-company transfers for cruise line executives. Ms. Delgado is fluent in English and Spanish.
Viviana Arboleda Public Relations Manager
Viviana Arboleda advances the reputation of the firm among the media, clients and prospective clients. She joined the firm in December 2009. A 2009 graduate of Emory University, she previously held internships with CNN and CBS in Atlanta and worked for Emory’s broadcast and print news outlets. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.
Connie Benson Business Manager
Connie Benson handles financial oversight, budgeting, human resources and information systems for the firm. She was previously a managing member of an accounting services firm specializing in managerial accounting for small businesses. She has additional experience as an audit supervisor and corporate controller. Ms. Benson earned a master of business administration with a concentration in Accounting from Barry University, Miami. She also holds a bachelor of arts in Human Resources from St. Thomas University, Miami. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Yamaira Del Toro Accounting Director
Yamaira Del Toro handles all accounting and bookkeeping issues for the firm.
Aylen Pulido Executive Assistant
Aylen Pulido handles administrative and clerical responsibilities. She was previously employed by a Miami-area law firm as a legal secretary. She is working toward a degree at Miami Dade College and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Karelin Abdo Receptionist
Karelin Abdo is the first point of contact for callers and visitors to Cordero & Associates. She previously worked in customer service and general office positions. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Fernando Vadra Operations Coordinator
Fernando Vadra oversees all office and technical functions for Cordero & Associates’ operations in Latin America. He previously worked in various project management positions in the information technology sector. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mariana Ferraro Administrative Assistant
Mariana Ferraro has previous experience as an administrative assistant and translator. She is studying English Translation at Catholic University of Argentina and is fluent in Spanish and English.
